Poems: Sign of Love, Wash Your Hands
There are many ways to express yourself. A plastic sign is one. A little rebellion is another. Read on, wash on.

Wash Your Hands
Again and again she
reminds me to no end,
please wash your
hands, and normally
I do, almost every
time, except a few,
those times when I’m
one step ahead of her
heading for the sink
and again she chimes,
please wash your hands,
and I stop, pause, turn
around and walk away,
hands still dry. Why?
A little rebellion now
and then, no matter how
subdued, is good for you.
You decide what to do.
But be sure you wash
your hands afterward.
